The renowned Michelin-starred restaurant Bolenius Rembrandtpark, led by chef Luc Kusters, will move in April from the South Axis to a new location on Nachtwachtlaan in Amsterdam-West, situated within the Rembrandt Park One office building. The official opening is scheduled for April 17th. This move not only highlights the growing popularity of Rembrandt Park One as a dynamic mixed-use building but also strengthens the vibrancy and appeal of the neighborhood.
Bolenius, which has partnered with Compass Group at this new location, has been awarded both a Michelin star and a green Michelin star for its commitment to sustainable gastronomy. The restaurant continues to distinguish itself by focusing on Dutch ingredients and eco-friendly cooking techniques. The new location will feature not only a new vegetable garden and greenhouse but also a large terrace by the water. Chef Kusters is excited about the new opportunities that Rembrandt Park offers: "The possibilities here are so vast, and we are extremely eager to get started."
The restaurant will be open from Wednesday to Saturday for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, a 3-course menu will be offered, which can be served within 60 minutes—perfect for a business lunch. In the evening, Bolenius will present a refined 5-course menu, focusing on the high-quality, sustainable cuisine that has made the restaurant famous.
The arrival of Bolenius further strengthens Rembrandt Park One as a vibrant (work) environment. In addition to Bolenius, the building also hosts other amenities, such as TrainMore (gym), a coffee bar and a company restaurant operated by Compass, as well as Vitra Work Experience managed by Re:Invent. The building offers a hybrid working environment with co-working spaces, flexible offices, and meeting rooms. All of this is complemented by the green space of Rembrandtpark, making the building relevant to a broad audience and enhancing the 24/7 dynamic of the neighborhood.
